Sue Wade of Northwest Indiana, has been making unique jewelry for over 12 years. For three years she managed a local bead shop and taught jewelry making classes. She has been selling her work at local art fairs for the past 6 years. An avid supporter of other local artists, she incorporates their handmade lampworked beads into many of her jewelry designs.
She is a self-professed "tool and bead-a-holic" and likes to explore the many different forms of jewelry design. Always on "the hunt" for unique items to incorporate into her designs, she looks at everything a little differently than she used to, especially in antique & resale shops where treasures can abound.
Sue recently opened her own studio, The Artisan's Workshop, in Griffith, Indiana, which focuses on teaching various jewelry techniques. She hosts a monthly "Bead Club" meeting for local jewelry making enthusiasts to inspire, share and encourage one another in their passion for all things bead related.

***I will be teaching "Photo Pendants Under Glass" at the 2010 Bead & Button Show in Milwaukee. WI. The class examples are shown on the Bead & Button Show website at http://www.beadandbuttonshow.com.
Many great classes are available during the show.
If you've never been to the Bead & Button Show, I highly recommend it. It is an amazing show, jam-packed with talented artists and fabulous shopping. Fun,fun fun...!
